Over the weekend I attended a launch of a new salon that shall shortly be opening in Jumeirah and I must say what an event it was. The salon has a very expensive look while the event was very quirky and everyone at the event was so sweet (pun intended you’ll understand why) and informative.
The launch happened on Friday, 22 Jan 2016 and its part of the American owned and operated salon and they also have a salon in Doha, Qatar. The event featured YUMMY SWEET TREATS AND CANDY BUFFET, LIVE Candy making, by Candylicious! LIVE PAMPER BOOTHS- FREE: nail art, hair sparkle, and braiding, and LIVE FASHION SHOW- featuring candy couture concept hair cuts, colours, styles and makeup. The event page did mention make up but I could not find someone doing make up and although there was someone doing nail art, it seemed as though the person sitting there was giving a full blown manicure session, which only made the line get longer and longer and a lot of people eventually lost interest.
Every female attendee received a goody bag that had something different in each bag. My bad contained a Ciate – Serendipity nail polish and a Paul Mitchell Hair Repair Treatment (does have silicones, but I shall give it a try anyway). I went there at around 17:30 and it was decently crowded and I definitely got myself some candy to silent my sweet tooth cry and a feather in my mane (released a bit of my wild child). You can check out their Facebook page or their website for more information. They will be the first salon out here in Dubai that provides specialised haircut and services for naturally curly hair (they are a bit pricey though). Here are a few pictures from the event and my two freebies :)
Hope you’ll enjoyed this post.
Leave me a comment if you want a product review of the Paul Mitchell Hair Repair Treatment.
Until next time, thank you for stopping by and sharing some love.
